A group of Liverpool supporters have been discussing footage that has emerged on social media of Steven Gerrard playing football in a garden with his child. The clip was posted by Metro Sport, via @Lidellpool on Twitter.
The former Anfield captain is captured making a sliding challenge, reminiscent of the ones he used to make during his days as a Reds player.
With football throughout the United Kingdom currently suspended, Gerrard’s Rangers side haven’t played a game since they were beaten by Bayer Leverkusen at Ibrox on the 12th March (as per the BBC).
Here is how some of the Liverpool faithful have responded to the post.

What do we think?
Even in what we assume to be his back garden, Steven Gerrard displays the type of commitment that saw him become an Anfield legend. During his time with the Merseyside club, the midfielder made over 700 appearances, scoring 186 goals.
The now 39-year-old famously captained his side to UEFA Champions League glory under Rafael Benitez in the 2004/05 season and in our view will forever be remembered as one of the all-time greats.
