Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which highlights footage of the club’s former captain, Vincent Kompany.
In the footage, which was uploaded by City Chief on Twitter, Kompany scores his famous long-range drive against Leicester to take a huge step towards securing the 2018/19 Premier League title.
In reaction to the footage, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many, somewhat surprisingly, suggesting that they believed Kompany would score the effort, while others have stated how the footage has brought back very fond memories of their former player.

What do we think?
City fans clearly still remember Vincent Kompany extremely fondly, and considering his record with the club, it is not difficult to see why.
The 33-year-old won a remarkable four Premier League titles, four League Cups, two FA Cups and two Community Shields, scoring 20 goals and providing 11 assists over his 360 appearances for City.
However, his last for the club – that astonishing strike against Leicester – is obviously still fresh in the minds of the City fans, as it is arguably one of the most important goals he scored during his time in Manchester.
