Fans of Manchester City have been reacting a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claim John Stones is a summer transfer target for both Arsenal and Tottenham.
According to recent reports in TEAMtalk, both Arsenal and Spurs are interested in the 25-year-old centre-back, with Stones having reportedly been told that his days are numbered at Manchester City (via the Daily Star).
In reaction to rumours over Stones’ future, fans of Manchester City flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that if City get anywhere near the £50 million they reportedly want for the player, they would be incredibly lucky, while others have simply stated their delight at the thought of the England international leaving their club.
Tottenham and Arsenal are set to battle over John Stones when the transfer window opens, however Manchester City want to recoup the £50m they paid in 2016.

What do we think?
While some City fans have suggested that they would be lucky to get £35 million for the £40.5 million-rated Stones, after looking at the 25-year-old’s stats this season, it is not difficult to see why that is the case.
The centre-back has made just 12 Premier League appearances so far this term, and despite fellow City defender Aymeric Laporte spending lengthy spells on the sidelines through injury, Guardiola has often preferred to play Fernandinho ahead of Stones in the City backline.
As such, it would appear that a summer move away from Manchester this summer would suit all parties.
