What do we think?
While many City fans appear to be delighted with the reports linking their club to Skriniar, the £43.2 million-rated defender has not exactly been in great form of late.
So far this season, over his 24 Serie A appearances, Skriniar has averaged a WhoScored match rating of just 6.66, and while he has performed slightly better in the Champions League, averaging a 6.74 rating, both are a far cry from the 7.2 average match rating he achieved for Inter back in the 2017/18 Serie A season.
Despite this, it seems as if City fans would be happy with the signing, and even if they can get him for the reported fee, the deal could also represent relative value for money.
