Manchester City fans have been reacting on Twitter to the latest reported transfer news concerning Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.
This comes after City fan Twitter account @City_Xtra shared a post on their page relaying news originally shared in The Transfer Window Podcast.
It was claimed that a “swap deal” between Martinez and City striker Sergio Aguero “has been proposed to the representatives of both players. However, no financial terms have been discussed.”

Martinez, who is currently valued at £57.6 million according to Transfermarkt, has scored 16 goals and provided four assists in 31 appearances for the Italian side in all competitions so far this season (per Transfermarkt). Now that this latest rumour has surfaced on Twitter saying that a swap deal could be in the works that would see Martinez take Aguero’s place in Pep Guardiola’s squad, this has opened the door for many City fans to share their doubts over the potential switch.
