Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Bayern Munich are considering backing out of their potential deal to sign City winger Leroy Sane.
According to reports in German publication Kicker, despite an interest in Sane spanning from last summer, German giants Bayern Munich now have “doubts about the mentality” of the winger, leaving them uncertain as to whether they should make another move for the 24-year-old in the upcoming transfer window.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by Man City Xtra on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many stating their belief that Bayern are using the mentality of Sane as an excuse for lacking funds, while others have claimed that they think the winger will be heading to either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
The current tendency at Bayern Munich is a 'no' to the transfer of Leroy Sané, following doubts about the mentality of the player.

They scouted him for some time and they only now learned about his mentality? They’re probably low on cash and just don’t want to admit it— ??hoenix (@TwelfthBlue_) April 1, 2020

What do we think?
While many City fans clearly believe that Bayern are using the question of Sane’s mentality as an excuse for backing out of the potential deal, it does appear strange considering the fact that the German side have already had bids rejected for the winger.
According to reports in The Guardian, Bayern offered £70.7 million for Sane last summer, and despite the player suffering an ACL injury that has kept him out of action for the entirety of the Premier League season so far, had appeared to retain their interest until the most recent reports in Kicker.
As such, it would appear that unless a bid is tabled from elsewhere, that the £90 million-rated Sane will be playing his football for Pep Guardiola’s side beyond this summer.
