Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claim Joao Cancelo is ‘crazy’ to sign for Barcelona.
According to reports in Catalan publication SPORT (via Sport Witness), Manchester City right-back Cancelo feels a move to Barcelona would suit him best, despite also claiming that the 25-year-old ‘hasn’t adapted to life in England’ or the style of football in the Premier League.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by City Chief on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that City should sell Cancelo.

What do we think?
While Cancelo has not featured all that much this season – he has started just 29% of City’s Premier League games – when he has been on the pitch, his performances have been impressive.
Over his 11 Premier League fixtures, the £32.4 million-rated right-back has averaged an impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.06, while in the Champions League, Cancelo has also averaged a respectable rating of 6.91.
As such, it would appear that when Cancelo is given the chance, he performs admirably, however, not admirably enough to warrant many City fans keeping him at the club beyond this season.
