Image for Manchester City: Fans react to images of leaked kit

Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which shows leaked photos of Manchester City’s training kit for the 2020/21 season.

The images, which were originally obtained by OFOBALL (via Footy Headlines), reportedly show City’s training top for the 2020/21 season, which features a pattern inspired by the buildings found in the Castlefield area of Manchester, while the away shirt will be predominantly black and combined with a ‘dark denim’ colour.

According to WhoScored, who is City's top Premier League goalscorer so far this season?

In reaction to the images, which were relayed by Man City Xtra on Twitter, fans have flocked to share their opinions on the kit design, with many stating that they like the look of the kit.

What do we think?

Puma started manufacturing City’s kits from the beginning of this season after taking over from Nike in a £650-million deal which lasts until 2029.

The amount of £650 million – or £65 million per year – is quite a large step-up from the deal that City previously had with Nike, who paid the club just £12 million per year to manufacture City’s kits.

After looking at the comments from the City fans, Puma currently appear to be doing a good job in pleasing them with their kit designs so far.
