Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which asks fans as to what their opinion of City right-back Joao Cancelo is.
Speculation has been mounting in recent weeks regarding the future of the 25-year-old, with Barcelona reportedly interested in a swap deal for the player, which would see Nelson Semedo join City in return.
In a recent post on Twitter, City Chief posed the question to City fans as to what their opinion of Cancelo is, and fans have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that City need to sell the player over the summer, while others have stated their belief that the club need to give the £32.4 million-rated right-back more time to settle.

Doesn’t belong

City need to sell him. No space for him in the team and to get some money for him will be good

Don’t take it the wrong way but it’s the most unnecessary signing we’ve made since Wilfried Bony

What do we think?
While opinion seems to be spilt on Cancelo amongst City fans, there are signs that the 25-year-old could warrant more playing time at the club.
Despite making just 11 Premier League appearances so far this season, without registering a goal or an assist, Cancelo has averaged an impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.06 throughout his appearances in the league.
In addition to this, over the six Champions League fixtures he has played in, the Portuguese international has averaged another impressive match rating of 6.91.
As such, it would appear that whenever Cancelo is on the pitch, he performs admirably, and from some of their comments, it is clear that sections of the City fanbase would like to see the right-back remain at the club and feature more regularly.
