Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which discusses Angelino’s return from RB Leipzig at the end of this season.
Angelino joined Leipzig on loan in January and there had previously been reports suggesting that the German club would look to make his deal a permanent one come the end of the season.
However, in a recent post by City Chief on Twitter, the fan account outlined their hopes of welcoming the 23-year-old back to the club this summer, and in reaction, Manchester City fans have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that the left-back is not good enough to get into the City side.
Hopefully next season Angelino will come back from his loan and establish himself in our team. He has so much talent ? pic.twitter.com/EZ8i8yPqfF

Nah he’s just average lads.

No he is not. He had two chances to prove himself to City and Guardiola. He is way to small to play in England. We need physical fullbacks and he is a pushover. He was absolutely clueless against Liverpool. Enough of decent players. We need a world class defence.

He’s not good enough. He can’t play FB, he can’t defend at all.

I doubt he is coming back tbh

Reckon he’ll be sold to be honest.

What do we think?
While many City fans would appear to think that Angelino is not good enough for the City defence, it is difficult to argue that he has not enjoyed a fine loan spell so far at Leipzig.
Since his January arrival, the £15.75 million-rated left-back has made eight appearances for the German side, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
However, whether Pep Guardiola sees the former Spanish U21 international as a long-term part of City’s backline is another matter altogether, and it is quite clear from their comments that the City fans would rather see Angelino move on than come back to the Etihad next season.
