Liverpool fans on Twitter have been calling for goalkeeper Adrian to pack his bags and leave the Merseyside club this summer.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their page relaying quotes from a recent interview Adrian had with the club’s website.
The Spaniard signalled his intention to remain at Anfield after revealing that his move to the Merseyside club was “the perfect decision at the perfect time” before calling Liverpool the “best team in the world.”
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were not accepting Adrian’s sentiments and chose to share their wishes to see him leave the club.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:

Is Adrian good enough to be Liverpool's back up goalkeeper?
Yes
No
The 33-year-old signed to the Merseyside club in the previous summer transfer window from fellow Premier League side West Ham United. In his first season at Liverpool, Adrian has made 18 appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s team in which he has conceded 24 goals and kept just three clean sheets (per Transfermarkt). Now that Adrian has come out and expressed his delight in his decision to move to Liverpool after spending six years at West Ham, this has given these Reds fans the opportunity to make their negative feelings on the ‘keeper heard.

What do we think?
It’s a shame that these Liverpool fans want Adrian to leave the club before he’s even completed a full season there. But looking at how many goals he has conceded in his appearances for the team, it’s understandable why they may have some doubts about his quality.
