The 33-year-old, who is now valued at £1.8 million (Transfermarkt), joined the Merseyside club back in 2007 from Ajax for a fee of £15.53 million. Babel then left Liverpool in the 2011 January transfer window for a move to German side TSG Hoffenheim.
