The German spent four years at the Merseyside club before moving to Italian side Juventus on a free transfer (per Transfermarkt). During those four years, Can made 167 appearances for the Reds in which he scored 14 goals and provided 12 assists (per Transfermarkt).

Now that this image of Can and Coutinho from when they were Liverpool teammates has surfaced on Twitter again, this has given plenty of Liverpool fans the opportunity to share their thoughts.

What do we think?

It appears that these Reds fans are split with their opinions on Can, with some appreciating his efforts in a Liverpool shirt, whereas others have washed their hands of him for good.
