Inter are looking into the possibility of signing Georginio Wijnaldum from Liverpool – that’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb. The Italian outlet claim that the Serie A giants are interested in the player who only has until June 2021 remaining on his current contract (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
The report goes on to say that their hopes of landing the Dutch international could be served a huge blow if the 29-year-old agrees to extend his stay at Anfield until 2024 with an offer from his current employers already on the table.
Here is what some of the fans had to say regarding the prospect of the midfielder leaving for Italy.
I believe he’s our most important midfielder. We are a possession recycle system. He has an immense work rate and is damn near impossible to knock off the ball. All for the benefit of the squad.
