Many Liverpool supporters have been responding to Andy Robertson’s recent tweet, in which he urges everybody to stay as safe as he feels when he’s with Virgil van Dijk. The Scotland international also shared a number of images of the two players in the post.
The pair have been key to the Reds’ success this season; they make up one half of a back four that has conceded just 21 goals in 29 Premier League games. Judging by the 26-year-old’s tweet, it’s clear the two teammates share a close bond – here is what the fans have had to say.

It’s clear that the Liverpool fans adore both of these players and you could argue the team spirit and togetherness that appears to be present in Jurgen Klopp’s side has been key to their recent success. Everybody associated with the club will be hoping it is safe to resume the season in the near future considering the Reds are just two victories away from being crowned champions of England for the first time in 30 years.
