Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest news surrounding on-loan goalkeeper Loris Karius.
This comes after Liverpool-focused Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in an article by Turkey’s NTV, which claims that the German has ended his contract with Besiktas and will return to Liverpool.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans, who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest development.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:

Who would you rather have at Liverpool?
Karius
Adrian
The German has been on loan at the Turkish club having not appeared for Liverpool since his disastrous performance in the 2018 Champions League final against Real Madrid. Now that it has been reported that his spell at Besiktas has come to an end and a return to Merseyside is on the cards, this has not gone down well with these Reds fans, who were not shy in airing their disappointment.
NOOOOO

It’s not getting any better for Liverpool, currently.

What do we think?
Looking at these replies, it seems as though Karius will not be welcome back at Anfield by these fans. Almost two years have passed since his mistakes in the Champions League final, yet these fans are still not willing to forgive and forget. The hope for these fans now will be that their club can find another team to loan Karius out to, or even cut their ties with him altogether.
