Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest post from former Reds defender Alberto Moreno.
This comes after the Spaniard shared a post on his official Twitter page quote-tweeting a post from @TheRedmenTV that contained match footage from the Reds’ 4-0 win over Everton back in 2016.
To commemorate the four-year anniversary of the victory, the footage was shared onto Twitter which then caught the attention of Moreno, who played in the match that day.
Moreno captioned his quoted tweet with two clapping emojis followed by two laughing face emojis.
This post from the full-back then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to send their own messages to their former man.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:

Were Liverpool right to let Moreno leave the club?
Yes, it was the right time
No, he should have stayed for longer
The 27-year-old first signed to the Merseyside club back in 2014 from Sevilla for a fee of £16.2 million. Moreno spent five years at Anfield in which he made 141 appearances for the club, scoring three goals and providing 11 assists before moving to Villareal on a free transfer in 2019. Now that the Spaniard has shared a post on his official Twitter page reminiscing over the Reds’ 2016 win over Everton, this has paved the way for lots of Liverpool fans to respond.
@NDYLFC Klopp’s reaction is priceless! I remember this!

What do we think?
The reaction to Moreno’s post from these Liverpool fans just goes to show how much they like and miss having the full-back at the club, which is nice to see.
