Liverpool defender Neco Williams celebrates his birthday on Monday and the club have dedicated a Twitter post to the 19-year-old. A right-back by trade, the youngster is yet to feature for the Reds in the Premier League but has been given opportunities in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup this season.
In the domestic cups, Williams has provided three assists in five appearances (via Transfermarkt.co.uk), so perhaps that’s why some of these supporters have labelled him as the next Trent Alexander-Arnold and believe he can go on to achieve great things.

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that many of these fans hold the young defender in high regard and have been encouraged by what they’ve seen of him so far. Williams is a product of Liverpool’s youth academy and is currently a Welsh under-19 international.
In our opinion, the future looks bright for the teenager but displacing Trent Alexander-Arnold in the first-team will be a difficult task given the England international is Jurgen Klopp’s fifth-most consistent player this season, with an average performance rating of 7.3/10 (via WhoScored.com).
