Liverpool fans have been pleading on Twitter for the club to make a transfer move for former Red Philippe Coutinho.
This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @LivEchoLFC shared a post on their page if they would take either Coutinho or Raheem Sterling back at the club.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were claiming to want the Brazilian to make a return to Anfield.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans wanting Coutinho to sign:
Would you take either of them back, #LFC fans?https://t.co/0v9JBR6s4p

I’d take Phil back but he’d have to pay the same amount towards the deal as his put in towards his Barca deal

Would Coutinho get into this current Liverpool starting XI?
Yes
No
During his time at the Merseyside club, Coutinho managed to score 54 goals and provide 45 assists in 201 appearances in all competitions (per Transfermarkt). The 27-year-old, who is currently valued at £50.4 million according to Transfermarkt, left Liverpool in the 2018 January transfer window for Spanish side Barcelona. Now that the question has been put to these Liverpool fans on whether or not they would take Coutinho back at the club he left over two years ago, this paved the way for lots of Reds to plead for his return.
Coutinho all day. He’d finish his career with us and be thankful for the return. #magician

What do we think?
The fact that so many Liverpool fans have been calling for Coutinho to make his Merseyside comeback just goes to show that they still believe he has something to offer Jurgen Klopp’s team.
