This comes after Liverpool-focused Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying comments made by Fabrizio Romano in a recent interview with Calciomercato.
In the interview, Romano revealed that Liverpool are “trying to strike up a speech” to sign the German this summer.

Despite there being no football being played at the moment, the fact that Liverpool are still making the efforts they can to sign Werner just proves how much they want him at the club.
