Liverpool are considering a move for Adama Traore in case they lose Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah – that’s according to Football Insider. The report claims that an Anfield insider has confirmed the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger has been placed on a shortlist by the club’s recruitment team as they assess their options.
Here is what some of the Liverpool fans have had to say regarding the report.
I would genuinely rather have him than Sancho. Better value and I think Klopp would turn him into a monster. Unplayable at his best.

Would love him, he would bring something new and he is a beast. Klopp surely likes him cos he spoke highly of him and he doesn’t do that often in public

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that many Liverpool fans aren’t convinced of Adama Traore’s ability to replace Jurgen Klopp’s current wingers. The 24-year-old, previously of Barcelona is valued at £28.8m according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
He’s made 28 appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring four goals and providing seven assists to date. In terms of his output, there is no comparison between Traore and Mane who has scored 14 goals and provided nine assists in the league. Mohamed Salah has scored an impressive 16 goals in 26 appearances and therefore his output is significantly better too.
Traore has been Wolves’ most consistent player this season with an average performance rating of 7.61/10 according to WhoScored.com. So whilst he has impressed for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, there are still question marks over whether he can perform in a Liverpool team competing at the highest level.
