Leicester City-focused Twitter account @LCFCFoxes_com caught the attention of many Foxes supporters recently as they posted a tweet asking Leicester fans if they think the club should sell Demarai Gray.
Some Foxes fans have indicated that they may be losing faith in the 23-year-old winger, with many sharing their belief that the club should sell Gray this summer. One Leicester supporter responded by explaining that while Gray would “be a quality buy for any Championship side”, he isn’t currently of the standard necessary for a Premier League side of Leicester’s calibre.

What do we think?
Gray, who is now valued at £13.05 million (as per Transfermarkt), left Birmingham City to join the Foxes in January 2016 when the winger was just 19 years old, as Leicester met a £3.7m release clause in his contract, as reported by the BBC.
Since then, Gray has made a total of 159 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes, scoring 12 goals and making 15 assists during his tenure at the King Power Stadium.
Gray made a total of five goal contributions for the Foxes in each of the three league campaigns which preceded the current one, as per Transfermarkt.co.uk. The winger also played in 30 or more Premier League games for the Foxes in each of his three full seasons at Leicester to date.
However, this season, Gray has featured in just 14 of the Foxes’ 29 Premier League games thus far, making two goal contributions during the 2019/20 campaign, according to Transfermarkt.
Considering that he has enjoyed less game time for the Foxes this season than he has in previous campaigns, it may be fair to say that Gray has fallen down the pecking order to an extent at the King Power Stadium. With that in mind, it may be understandable why some Leicester fans have called for the club to sell the winger this summer.
