Supporters of Everton have been reacting to a report which has suggested that the Toffees have an interest in signing Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey.
According to 90min, the Toffees want to establish themselves as Premier League elite and want to sign the Real Madrid and Juventus duo to help make that happen (as per Everton News Feed), which had fans in disbelief.

Do you believe that there is any truth in the rumour linking Everton with Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale?Yes, anything is possibleNo, it is a complete lie |
Over the duration of the season so far, Bale has only been Madrid’s 15th-best performer in La Liga with a 6.84/10 (per WhoScored), whereas Ramsey has been the 12th-best player for his side in Serie A with a 6.85/10 (per WhoScored).
However, following the report from 90min, supporters continued to air their disbelief that Carlo Ancelotti’s side would even attempt to sign the Welsh duo.
Seriously who writes this rubbish !!!

What do we think?
As can be judged from the responses, while the majority wholeheartedly disbelieve the notion of the transfers, most would not even want the duo to be signed if it were at all possible.
Bale is currently valued at £36 million and has two seasons left on his contract after this one (per Transfermarkt) and Ramsey has three seasons left on his after this one with a valuation of £31.5 million (per Transfermarkt).
So, if there is any truth in the rumour at all, it would likely set the Toffees back a huge amount of money to make the moves a reality.
