How would you prefer the remainder of the season was played out?Null and void itBehind closed doors |
According to the report from Sky Sports, clubs are concerned that loan and out-of-contract players could walk away if the season is not completed by 30th June.
The contracts and loan deals that are currently set to expire after that date for the Toffees are the contracts of Maarten Stekelenburg, Leighton Baines, Cuco Martina and Oumar Niasse, while Djibril Sidibe’s loan deal would also expire (per Transfermarkt).

What do we think?
As can be judged from these Everton supporters’ responses, some clearly feel as though finishing the current season by 30th June represents an almost impossible task.
However, as clubs rightly point out (per Sky Sports), if the season is not finished by that date or brought to some form of conclusion, another tricky situation with loans and player contracts will arise.
