Supporters of Everton have been reacting to a transfer report on the club’s on-loan youngster, Jonjoe Kenny.
According to BILD, the young Englishman has told his teammates at his loan club, Schalke 04, that he would like to stay with the Bundesliga side (via Everton News Feed), which Everton fans reacted to.
?Jonjoe Kenny has told his teammates at Schalke he wishes to stay. Schalke want to keep Kenny, all that is needed is an agreement with Everton (Source – BILD) pic.twitter.com/SHNIg1YI2n

Good for him. I think that’s a great fit.

Happy for him to stay tbh! Fits for Sibide to go back to Monaco and hopefully sign a first choice RB and keep Coleman

Would you mind seeing Jonjoe Kenny sold to Schalke 04 if he is happy there?Yes, he needs to stay with usNo, he can go if he wants |
The 23-year-old defender is currently part-way through a season-long loan move to Germany (per BBC), however, there is no clause in the deal to make the move permanent (via BILD).
Following the report on the Everton loanee, though, fans continued to air their reactions, with many happy for the right-back to stay where he is happy.
Sell him, don’t think he’s good enough for us just yet.

To be fair, the state of everything right now, I’d rather be living in Germany so I can’t blame him ??

Others are reporting he wants to stay for another year not permanently. Will probably do the lad good if he did

Delighted if true. Nowhere near good enough

Buy back clause. Happy days

Couldn’t blame the lad if he did want to stay in Germany. But would be good to see how he’s benefitted from the loan like Holgate did at WBA. I think he deserves a chance to fight for a 1st team place next season.

What do we think?
As can be judged from the responses from Everton supporters, many seem as though they would not mind seeing Kenny’s move to Schalke being made a permanent one if he is happy there.
Having only been the 15th-best performer in the Bundesliga for the German club so far this season with a 6.53/10 average rating (per WhoScored), it is not completely certain if he is even good enough for the Toffees anyway.
