Completely untried and untested, but I’ve faith in our academy to make a decent player of him. Obviously only been scouted with development in mind.

Would you buy an Everton shirt with 'Maldini' on the back if Daniel Maldini was signed?Yes, would be rude not toNah, seems a bit childish |
The young attacking midfielder has featured in 15 appearances so far this season, including one Serie A match. Over the whole season, he has had an impressive goals return, with nine goals and five assists (per Transfermarkt).
Daniel is the son of legendary AC Milan defender Paolo Maldini (via Daily Mail) and despite the illustrious blood in his family, some fans were more negative than others on the reported enquiry.
No chance imo his grandad was AC and his dad was too he won’t be going anywhere yet

What do we think?
As can be judged from the responses, some fans are keener than others on the reported interest in signing the young Italian, however, those who are keen seem to still believe Maldini to be an unknown quantity.
However, as 14 goal involvements in 15 appearances so far this season would suggest (per Transfermarkt), the 18-year-old midfielder could be quite the talent.
