Supporters of Everton have been reacting to a transfer report which has suggested that Bernard could be leaving Goodison Park.
According to LaRoma24, as cited by Sport Witness, the Brazilian winger has been offered to Serie A side Roma (via Everton News Feed), which some fans were not happy with.
If a £30 million bid arrived for Bernard in the next transfer window, would you accept it?Yes, would be good money for himNo, we need to keep hold of him |
?Bernard has been offered to Italian Giants, Roma. Carlo Ancelotti is a fan of Bernard so it would take a very good offer for a move to happen (Source – LaRoma24 via @Sport_Witness) pic.twitter.com/rQ7TRR6kSk

That makes this a load of rubbish if he is a fan why would we offer him? You offer players who don’t fit plans. Not convinced

So far this season, Bernard has been the 11th-best performer for the Toffees in the Premier League with a 6.66/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
To earn the rating the 27-year-old Brazilian scored three and assisted two in 19 league outings (per WhoScored), leaving some fans more open to his possible exit.
On his day he’s excellent, but too inconsistent , rarely an end product and not strong enough. Unpopular opinion probably but ?????

I agree I can see him being moved on if a decent fee was offered. Him, iwobi and Walcott didn’t score enough goals. And we need more goals from the wings.

Hes a profitable opportunity,I like him but he doesn’t over excite me…I wouldn’t be too bothered if he left..but if he stays I wud like him to improve on what we’ve seen..

Perhaps not a popular opinion but I’d sell him unless Carlo is going to give him a run in the side. I think players like him need momentum otherwise they’ll always be tagged inconsistent….

What do we think?
Having only picked up a 6.66/10 average rating so far this season by contributing three goals and two assists in 19 appearances (per WhoScored), perhaps the Brazilian has not been at his best this term.
Judging from the responses from Everton supporters, it is clear to see that there is a small divide over Bernard’s future with some keen for him to stay and others not too bothered if he left for the right price.
