Fans of Everton have been reacting to the latest report on the Toffees’ supposed interest in signing Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.
According to Football Insider, as cited by the Daily Star, Everton are feeling ‘secretly confident’ that they can successfully swoop for the English midfielder (via Everton News Feed), which fans reacted to.

According to the Mirror, Manchester United are willing to pay £70 million to secure the midfielder’s services and the Sun have stated that they are also ready to offer him £150,000-a-week wages, leading the Birmingham Mail to report the two possible prices.
So, when the two figures were shared to Everton supporters on Twitter (via Everton News Feed), many Toffees supporters had a lot to say.

What do we think?
Grealish currently has a contract which is set to run for another three seasons following the conclusion of this one and a market value of £27.45 million (per Transfermarkt), so, £70 million may be a little over the odds.
However, the 24-year-old’s 7.33/10 average rating in the Premier League this season (per WhoScored) would make him the best-performing player in Everton’s squad with the rating just bettering Richarlison’s 7.32/10 (per WhoScored).
