Supporters of Everton have been airing their love for footage that was shared by the Toffees’ forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

On Thursday, the Merseyside club posted footage of the Englishman having a phone conversation with a young Everton fan, which fans loved after the striker shared it (per Dominic Calvert-Lewin).

Emilia, the young Everton fan in the footage, has cerebral palsy and, after corrective surgery, was a mascot for the Toffees’ game against Arsenal in December of last year (per Everton).

So, after Calvert-Lewin shared the footage to his own Twitter account of the phone call between the two, fans continued to air their admiration.

What do we think?

After the 23-year-old initially met the young Everton fan while she was in hospital before she was his mascot in December (per Everton), it is great to see that the two are keeping in touch.

As can be judged from the responses from Everton fans, they loved the footage and were delighted to see the club still playing an active role in the community during the current difficult period.
