Fans of Crystal Palace have been reacting to a post on Twitter that relayed reports about PSG goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, who is currently on-loan at Real Madrid.
According to reports in French publication L’Equipe (via Tribal Football), Areola will look to leave PSG this summer should his loan deal not be made permanent with Real Madrid, with Crystal Palace and West Ham being mentioned as possible destinations for the ‘keeper.
In reaction to the report which was relayed by CPFC News HQ on Twitter, fans have flocked to have their say on the matter. Many suggested that the club’s current goalkeeper- Vicente Guaita, is a better option between the sticks. Others have claimed that it always appears to be Palace and West Ham that are linked with these types of players.
? Alphonse Areola intends to seek to leave PSG this summer, if Real Madrid decide not to activate their option to buy to sign him on a permanent basis.
His wife is keen on a move to London, with Palace and West Ham mentioned as possible destinations.

He’s a quality up and coming keeper should of been PSG no.1 and could of been Real Madrid’s no.1 quiet easily. Would be a solid signing even though we’ve got a quality keeper but would hate it if Hammers get their hands on him

What do we think?
While Areola has spent time at PSG and Real Madrid, the £11.7million-rated Frenchman has made just three appearances for Los Blancos this season. He has conceding three goals and has kept one clean sheet.
However, his time overall at PSG is slightly more impressive, where he made 107 appearances while conceding 87 goals and keeping 53 clean sheets.
However, the Palace fans main concern would appear to be that they already have a first-choice goalkeeper in Vicente Guaita, who has impressed this season, keeping nine clean sheets and conceding 28 goals in his 27 Premier League appearances.
