Fans of Crystal Palace have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of interest from Palace in Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard.
According to reports in France Football (via Sport Witness), Palace have ‘clearly positioned’ themselves to sign Edouard from Celtic this summer.
However, the reports goes on to claim that the 22-year-old could ‘hope for better’ than Palace, and mention Arsenal as another potential summer destination for the striker.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by CPFC News HQ on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many stating their belief that the rumours are too good to be true, while others have simply begged their club to make the deal happen.

I’m a Celtic and Palace fan, Edouard is probably a better all round player than Moussa Dembele was at the same age. If he left Celtic I’d love it to be for Palace but highly doubt it will happen.

West Ham, Brighton or Southampton it is then…

What do we think?
Since joining from PSG back in 2017 – in what was initially a loan deal that Celtic made permanent in 2018 – Edouard has gone from strength to strength with the Hoops.
The 22-year-old has scored 60 goals and provided 31 assists in just 126 appearances for Celtic, of which a remarkable 21 goals and 12 assists have come in the Scottish Premiership this season.
His form has seen his market value rise from just £1.35 million when he joined the Hoops permanently, to £12.15 million today.
As such, it is no wonder why so many Palace fans appear shocked that their team are linked with such a prolific forward.
