Aston Villa fans on Twitter have been calling for the club to sell Jota this summer.
This comes after Villa-focused Twitter account @VillaTil1Die shared a post on their page asking their followers who they would like to see leave the club this summer.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were quick to choose Jota as a player they would want to see leave the club in the next transfer window.

In his debut season at Villa Park, the Spaniard, who is currently valued at £3.15 million according to Transfermarkt, has only managed to score one goal and provide two assists in just 12 appearances for Dean Smith’s side (per Transfermarkt). Now that the question has been put to these Villa fans on which player they think the club should let go this summer, these Villa fans were not shy in picking out Jota for this hypothetical question.

What do we think?
While it’s never nice seeing a group of fans calling for a player to leave their club, given the minuscule impact Jota has had on the team so far this season in terms of goals and assists, it’s understandable why these fans don’t see a future for him at Villa Park.
