Some West Brom fans have been drooling over footage that has recently been shared by the club’s official Twitter account, which features a classic goal that was scored by ex-player and recent Birmingham City triallist Youssouf Mulumbu.

The Baggies’ official Twitter account recently shared footage featuring both of West Brom’s goals from“a massive win” over Swansea City, which occurred back in the 2013/14 season at the Liberty Stadium.

West Brom beat Swansea 2-1 away from home thanks to goals from Mulumbu and Stéphane Sessègnon securing an important three points for The Baggies, during a season in which they finished just three points above the relegation zone, in 17th place on the Premier League table.

Some Baggies supporters have been sharing their appreciation for Mulumbu in response to the tweet which shares his 85th-minute winning goal from their Premier League game at the Liberty Stadium. Read the positive posts from some Baggies supporters regarding their ex-player in the tweets below.

What do we think?

According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Mulumbu made a total of 211 appearances during his seven seasons at The Hawthorns, with the midfielder scoring 14 goals.

The 33-year-old, who spent the majority of his time with West Brom playing in a holding midfield role, may not have been a prolific goalscorer during his time with The Baggies. However, the 33-year-old appears to have endeared himself to some West Brom fans regardless, likely with the assistance of popping up with some important goals such as the match-winner against Swansea nearly six years ago.
