What do we think?
After joining the club in July 2012 for £2.31m, Michu spent both the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons at Swansea City. Michu memorably scored a total of 18 goals in his 35 Premier League appearances for the Swans in the 2012/13 season, finishing as the Premier League’s fifth-highest goalscorer that term and helping the club to finish in ninth place on the Premier League table.
After scoring just two goals in 17 Premier League appearances the following campaign, Michu joined Napoli on a season-long loan in July 2014, before ultimately leaving the Swans on a permanent deal to join UP Langreo on a free transfer in November 2015.
It may be fair to say that Michu’s impressive performances during the 2012/13 campaign made a lasting impression on some Swansea City fans, considering that some supporters of the club have recently taken to Twitter to share their appreciation for the ex-Swansea striker.
