Fans of Stoke City have been reacting to Jack Butland’s post on Twitter, in which the goalkeeper reflects on one of his favourite memories in a Stoke shirt.
The post features images of Butland saving a penalty in Stoke’s FA Cup shoot-out victory over Chelsea in 2015, something which the 27-year-old described as “One of my favourite memories in a Stoke shirt!”
In reaction to his post, fans of Stoke City flocked to have their say, with many of them claiming that night to be one of the best of their lives, while others simply took the chance to praise Butland for his service to the club.

What do we think?
Although Stoke have struggled somewhat this season – they currently occupy 17th place in the Championship table – Butland has impressed nevertheless, keeping eight clean sheets over his 30 league appearances so far this season.
Despite Stoke’s lowly league position, the club have turned their form around of late, winning five, drawing two and losing three of their last 10 fixtures, in which Butland has kept four clean sheets.
As such, if both Stoke and Butland can maintain their current form, it would appear likely that they will finish well clear of the Championship drop zone come the end of the season.
