Some Sheffield Wednesday fans have been reacting to recent reports that have linked Owls left-back Morgan Fox with a move away from Hillsborough.
According to a report that was recently published by The Sheffield Star, the Wednesday left-back has allegedly garnered interest from Nottingham Forest, West Brom, and Huddersfield Town, all of whom The Star claim “are reportedly keen on adding Fox to their squad”. The Star went on to explain that Sheffield Wednesday manager Garry Monk has already declared that he would like to keep the 26-year-old at Hillsborough.
These reports linking Fox with a move away from The Owls have attracted the attention of some Wednesday fans on social media lately, some of whom have been reacting negatively to these reports, sharing that they would like to see the 26-year-old remain a Wednesday player for next season.

What do we think?
Fox, whose contract is set to expire on the 30th of June according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, has featured in 26 Championship games for Wednesday this season, earning an average overall rating of 6.81 for his performances in the league this term according to WhoScored.com.
This makes him Wednesday’s seventh-highest rated Championship player this season according to WhoScored, with a total of 19 players earning a lower average overall rating than him for Wednesday during the 2019/20 Championship campaign.
With that in mind, it may be fair to say that other areas of the Owls’ squad may need addressing more urgently than Fox’s position. As a result, it may be understandable why some Owls fans have reacted negatively to the recent reports linking the left-back with a move away from Hillsborough.
