Sheffield Wednesday are preparing to take on the reigning champions of England in the FA Cup fifth round at Hillsborough on Wednesday night. Garry Monk’s side head into the clash versus Manchester City having won just one of their last six Championship fixtures.
Up until now, the cup has provided some joy to the Wednesday supporters who have seen their team defeat Brighton and Hove Albion of the Premier League and Queens Park Rangers on their way to this stage in the competition.
Can Sheffield Wednesday spring a surprise on Manchester City and progress?
Yes
No
The boss has spoken to the media ahead of this fixture and his comments have prompted quite the response from these supporters.

I glad someone has belief in them. Personally I wouldn’t trust them to cross a road on their own!

What do we think?
It appears these supporters have very little faith in their team’s ability to get a result against Pep Guardiola’s side but perhaps what is more concerning is the fact that they don’t even believe the players will ‘give it absolutely everything’. The Owls will no doubt have their work cut out but this is the FA Cup and therefore anything can happen.
