Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan started for the Owls in their narrow defeat at the hands of the current Premier League champions Manchester City on Wednesday night. The 30-year-old played the entire 90 minutes and there was one contribution in particular that has left the fans in awe.
The former Crystal Palace man pulled off a brilliant piece of skill to fool his opponents and squeeze a pass through two onrushing City defenders and find a teammate. These fans couldn’t quite believe what they had witnessed.
Was Barry Bannan one of Sheffield Wednesday's best players versus Man City?

What do we think?
Aside from that wonderful piece of trickery, Bannan had a solid game in the middle of the park for Garry Monk’s side. According to WhoScored.com, his performance was worthy of a 6.9/10 rating, meaning only Dominic Iorfa and Joe Wildsmith performed to a higher standard.
The former Scotland international has been a regular this season having made 34 appearances and being selected in 89% of the club’s Championship fixtures this season (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
