This week Rangers fans were made aware of Alfredo Morelos’ inclusion in the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League Team of the Season. The team is only a temporary one, however, as the remainder of the tournament could change how things shape up.
The post was shared by @WATP_com on Twitter and showed Morelos’ score of 7.53/10 for all his performances. He has scored six goals and recorded one assist in just eight games during the group and knockout stages.
However, when the fan account shared the news, supporters were much more alarmed at the inclusion of Umar Sadiq. The Nigerian striker had a short spell at Rangers but ultimately left midway through last season.
Supporters laughed at his inclusion, suggesting that it was a disgrace that he is compared to someone like Morelos.
I think we should be talking about Umar Sadiq…

Would you take Sadiq back at Rangers?
Yes
No
What do we think?
Sadiq has scored four goals and assisted two in his six UEFA Europa League group and knockout stage games. Despite this, it is clear that these fans don’t take him as seriously as they maybe should.
His four games for the Rangers first-team without a goal could have something to do with that.
