Fans of Nottingham Forest have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which discusses whether Yohan Benalouane should be moved on this summer.
Benalouane, who arrived at Nottingham Forest from Leicester in 2019, has made just one appearance for the Reds this season, as a second-half substitute in their 2-0 loss to Chelsea in the FA Cup.
However, following his January move to the club at the start of last year, the 32-year-old made 14 league appearances for Forest in the second half of the 2018/19 Championship season, scoring one goal and averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.81.
This term, the former Tunisian international has fallen behind Joe Worrall, Tobias Figueiredo and Michael Dawson in Sabri Lamouchi’s central defensive pecking order, leading to City Ground HQ asking Forest fans on Twitter whether they would like to see Benalouane moved on this summer.
In reaction, Forest fans appeared to agree wholeheartedly, with some even suggesting that they would have liked to see the £450k-rated defender leave the club already.

What do we think?
With the impressive performances of Joe Worrall and Tobias Figueiredo, who have averaged WhoScored ratings of 6.97 and 6.84 respectively, throughout Forest’s campaign thus far, in addition to Benalouane playing a solitary 44 minutes of football this season, it is quite apparent that the Tunisian does not feature in Sabri Lamouchi’s plans. As such, it would appear that a summer move would suit both player and club.
