Middlesbrough remain in the bottom three of the Championship after they drew with Nottingham Forest at the Riverside Stadium on Monday night. Jonathan Woodgate’s side were moments away from securing their first league victory since New Year’s Day when they won away at Preston North End.
Ryan Yates put Forest in front just shy of the half-hour mark but the home side turned the game on its head when Rudy Gestede and Lewis Wing scored in quick succession. However, Sabri Lamouchi’s side found an equaliser just four minutes from time to deny Boro all three points (via BBC Sport).
Would you sack Jonathan Woodgate immediately?
Yes
No
Following Woodgate’s post-match press conference, here is how some of the club’s supporters have responded to his comments.
Doomed. Woodgate Out. Gibson sort it.

The result sparked some debate between these supporters who disagreed regarding whether or not the 40-year-old was to blame for Boro’s failure to see the game out.
Feel a bit for Woody tonight. You can’t blame the gaffer for individual mistakes and Boro were much improved tonight.. the Gestede gamble almost paid off… good luck to him for the 6 pointer against Charlton…

You can blame him for the game management though, the timings of his subs were horrendous

Things were working pretty well until Pears’ mistake so I wouldn’t be too harsh, although he could’ve freshened things up a little earlier. There weren’t many decent options on the bench unfortunately.

They were literally camped in our half for 20 minutes and he left us with no outlet or anyone to run the channels…poor!

What do we think?
With just 10 games remaining, the club’s precarious league position is becoming a real concern to the Boro fans, many of whom, judging by the responses, appear to have lost faith in Woodgate. They travel to fellow strugglers Charlton Athletic at the weekend, with their oppenents currently sitting just a point above the drop-zone.
