Leeds United’s Championship fixture versus Blackburn Rovers has been rescheduled and will now take place on Friday 3rd April at 7.45 pm (via the club’s official website). The game will now be televised on Sky Sports and therefore it has been brought forward a day from its original date.

These supporters have been reacting to the news on Twitter.

What do we think?

The Leeds United fans wishing to attend the fixture will now have to make a 56-mile journey from Elland Road to Ewood Park on a Friday night, which certainly isn’t ideal. However, given the size of the club’s fanbase and that the game is likely to be of huge importance with the promotion race continuing, we believe the Whites will have no trouble selling out their allocation.

This weekend, Marcelo Bielsa’s side take on Huddersfield Town, and with a just a point between themselves and Slaven Bilic’s West Bromwich Albion, they still stand a chance of earning promotion to the Premier League as champions.
