Leeds United moved another step closer to automatic promotion having registered their fourth successive Championship victory at the weekend. The Whites defeated Grant McCann’s Hull City 4-0 at the KCOM Stadium thanks to goals from Luke Ayling, Pablo Hernandez and a brace from Tyler Roberts.
Left-back Barry Douglas was an unused substitute at the weekend, but despite that, he took to social media to praise his teammates – in particular, Tyler Roberts and Illan Meslier, who replaced the banned Kiko Casilla.
Is Barry Douglas deserving of more game time?
Yes
No
These Leeds fans were pleased to see the 30-year-old acknowledging the efforts of his colleagues despite playing a bit-part himself.
Love this. Can’t be easy for Baz sat on the bench every week but it seems like every single one of these lads is in it together

What do we think?
Barry Douglas joined Leeds from Wolverhampton Wanderers in July 2018 for £3.06m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). The one-time Scotland international has made 39 appearances for the Whites to date and has provided five assists. Despite him starting 11% of the club’s league fixtures this season, judging by the responses above, the supporters believe he is a great person to have in and around the dressing room.
