A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to a tweet from Amitai Winehouse with a link to a piece with claims from Andrea Radrizzani, as well as the Yorkshire Evening Post sharing it.
The Leeds owner, speaking to Sky Sports Italia (via the Daily Mail), claimed that he was given permission to speak to PSG’s Edinson Cavani and also held talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic – before the Swede decided to re-join AC Milan.
This has drawn a great reaction from these Leeds fans.

It wasn’t Leeds interest, it was his own commercial interest. This is the sort of stuff that will see Marcelo leave with interfering.

How seriously should we take this Amitai, given that we ended up with an unfit CF wanted by neither his owners nor his loan club and who was in no condition to start a match?

Imagine Zlatan on bench, be ace

But ended up with Podeva, Augustin and Campile ?

What do we think?
Leeds ended up buying Jean-Kevin Augustin and reportedly had three bids turned down for Che Adams – which is pretty far removed from the likes of Cavani and Ibrahimovic (no offence to those two).
Do you believe what Radrizzani said?
Yes
No
The Swede, for example, has scored 460 club goals and won Swedish Player of the Year on 11 occasions.
Cavani, on the other hand, has scored 200 goals for PSG since moving there from Napoli in 2013.
If Leeds had signed either of the arguably more glamorous two, then in our opinion, it would have been one of the craziest transfers of the window.
However, we understand why some Leeds fans are doubting their owner because, to us, a move for either seemed unrealistic.
