A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Phil Hay’s latest tweet – after the Athletic reporter released a piece focusing on how the Whites are ready for the Premier League after two fantastic goals in the space of seven days.
Which goal was better?
Roberts' first against Hull
Ayling's volley against Huddersfield
Hay references Tyler Roberts’ first during the 4-0 thrashing of Hull City and Luke Ayling’s wonderful volley on Saturday against Huddersfield Town.
However, these Leeds fans do not want Hay to mention promotion as there is still a long way to go yet.
Leeds United are not promoted yet but two goal-of-the-season contenders in eight days showed how tactically ready Marcelo Bielsa’s team would be for the Premier League.

Getting flashbacks to last season, nothing is decided yet many twists and turns to go still, heads down and keep grinding that’s all we should be doing now #lufc

What do we think?
Leeds are seven points clear of third with nine games to go, but we understand why some Whites fans are nervy because they are still not mathematically promoted.
However, in our opinion, both of the goals mentioned in Hay’s piece were worthy of a place in the Premier League.
Roberts’ goal involved five players and started in the Whites’ own half (9:52), ending with a devastating left-footed finish from Roberts. (10:07)
Ayling’s goal. meanwhile, involved four players (0:10) and was finished off with a sumptuous volley that smashed off the bar and bounced down into the net. (0:20)
Both were brilliant goals, and we think it is easy to see why Hay produced a piece on them.
