A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Andy McVeigh’s latest post after the ‘Burley Banksy‘ unveiled his latest piece of artwork.
This time he has dedicated his work to Leeds’ former player Dominic Matteo.
The 45-year-old scored a goal at the San Siro against AC Milan to send his team through to the next round of the Champions League in the 2000/01 season and this artwork is dedicated to him.
Matteo has also just recovered from life-saving surgery, and Mr. McVeigh wanted to ‘cheer him up’, which we think was a lovely thing to do, and it has gone down well with many Leeds fans.
Does Matteo deserve this artwork?
Yes
No
Started this on Sunday in Beeston before lockdown. for @Dominicmatteo21. After his illness he'll be bit more anxious than most so might cheer him up.
Pic of him heading it in on the side I think. Anyone remember his shirt number?#lufc #burleybanksy pic.twitter.com/CdHPwWPR8V— Andy Burley Banksy (@pantsdanny) March 25, 2020
A very special night that was. The convoy of coaches through Milan to the San Siro was impressive.
Leeds did take more.

What do we think?
Matteo made 142 appearances for the Whites and scored four goals, but it seems that he will always be remembered for this one moment and Mr McVeigh’s artwork means that it will forever be immortalised.
We think that this was a lovely gesture from the ‘Burley Banksy‘ and we hope to see more of his artwork soon.
