A lot of Leeds United fans have reacted to a post containing quotes from Millwall’s Jed Wallace about how he thinks the season should be finished.
The EFL and Premier League are currently indefinitely suspended with this ongoing viral outbreak, but Wallace believes that no matter what this season has to finish.
He said that if the season were to be voided, it would be ‘absolutely not fair on teams at the bottom and teams like us.’
He also claimed that if the season were to be voided, then all of the moments that have happened would have meant nothing.
Here he namechecks Leeds’ comeback win over the Lions in January.
Do you agree with Wallace?
Yes
No
Wallace’s interview has gone down well with these Leeds fans.
"The atmosphere at Elland Road when Leeds beat us – those moments then mean nothing. That's what you play football for." ? #lufc https://t.co/1fxBu9CfwB

He’s absolutely right. And Millwall in particular will probably never have a better chance of getting into the playoffs and maybe even promotion if the season is voided. Doesn’t matter how long it goes on for, the season must be finished.

Well said lad…… So that’s a Millwall player and Gary Neville I am agreeing with…… Strange times..

He is absolutely correct.
The season must be completed.

Completely agree. It’s vital that this season is finished before another can begin

Good article and great argument from Wallace. Said it a number of times. You can’t ignore what has happened for what could be. What has happened means more.

What do we think?
Wallace speaks about this subject well, and it seems that he is determined to finish the season no matter what.
Millwall are currently in eighth place and have a chance of making the play-offs – so we understand why the 26-year-old, who is valued at £4.5m, wants to finish the season. He also already has 10 goals and eight assists to his name.
We also think that Leeds will want to finish the season because they are top of the league and in a good position to be promoted – so it is no surprise to see many Whites fans agreeing with Wallace.
