Some Celtic fans have talked about the latest post that the club’s official account sent out about New Balance.
The Hoops recently signed a new kit deal with Adidas– one that will start from the beginning of the 2020-21 season. The previous sponsors were New Balance and recently, the Celtic Twitter account thanked New Balance for their contributions to the Parkhead-based outfit.
Did you hate the New Balance jerseys?
Yes, they were honking
They weren't that bad
The Twitter post hailed the partnership as ‘wonderful’. But many Hoops fans weren’t happy with it and they had criticism for New Balance.
Stickers for badges? Never again…

Other than that season they thought that it’d be funny to make the badges stickers and washed out after a week

Show us how many of that hideous third kit was sold, and reimburse those poor customers for buying them in the first place.

Never have a partnership with New Balance again. Ever.

Celtic had signed the deal with New Balance in 2015 and it was the club’s record-breaking kit deal at that point. The 2015-16 season had seen New Balance design the club’s jerseys.
The new Adidas deal eclipses the New Balance deal. It is the most lucrative deal in Scottish football history and Scottish Sport. The five-year deal is now already in place.
What do we think?
One can clearly make out that Celtic fans didn’t really like the New Balance jerseys and are making their unhappiness with it very clear. But they can only hope that the Adidas deal makes them happier, considering it is a much more lucrative and expensive deal than New Balance.
