Some Celtic fans have been left talking by the latest proposed kit idea by one of the club’s fans.
A Hoops fan with the name ‘BenTheTim’ recently posted a photo of Odsonne Edouard on Twitter. The Frenchman was wearing a different jersey than the current one that Celtic wear. It had an Adidas logo on it.
This new jersey idea left many Celtic fans talking. Some feel it is a very good idea. Others felt they don’t like it at all.

Earlier this month, Celtic had announced a five-year partnership with German sportswear giant Adidas. It wasn’t just the most lucrative kits deal in Scottish football, but was also the most profitable one in Scottish sport to date. Adidas will provide kits for the club’s men and women’s team with the deal set to be in effect from the next season onwards.
The club’s current £25million-plus contract with New Balance is set to expire at the end of the ongoing Premiership season. The new Adidas deal eclipses the previous one.
What do we think?
Celtic fans are certainly entitled to their opinion about the jersey and what it could possibly be from next season onwards. But they should be happy that Adidas will sponsor their kits from next season. Considering how lucrative the deal is, it can help the club earn more money to potentially attract better players apart from having jerseys that they might love.
