Some Celtic fans have been raving at the latest stat about Odsonne Edouard that the club’s Twitter account put out.
Edouard had recently scored and assisted once for the Hoops in their Premiership game against St. Mirren, therefore clearly having played a role in the 5-0 win.
Ahead of the Old Firm Derby though, the Celtic Twitter account posted about Edouard. They were a host of stats about the Frenchman. It said that Edouard has played 18 passes per game this season, completing them with a 75 per cent accuracy.
Will Edouard reach the 40-goal mark?

On reading this and the other stats on show, many Hoops fans raved about the French striker. Some urged the club to keep the stats a secret so that potential suitors don’t see it.

Edouard has been in fine form for the Hoops this season. The former Paris Saint-Germain man has scored 27 times in all competitions, picking up as many as 19 assists for the club too. In the Premiership, Edouard has scored 21 goals while assisting 12 times.
What do we think?
Celtic fans raving about Edouard is justified considering how many goals he has scored on a consistent basis. But the club should be aware of interest from Monaco and Leicester City. The Foxes are looking to make a move in the summer, while Monaco had an approach rejected.
This is proof that Edouard’s performances are attracting attention. Celtic need to keep him for as long as possible, considering his contributions.
